Sorry folks, there is just way too much on my plate to fix this, plus I personally stopped playing World of Warcraft a while back. We are, however looking for a developer to help ensure that the Twitter updates work and to fix the Lua addin. Ive downloaded everything and followed the guide step by step and did everything right. I did everything restarted my computer and everything it keeps saying invalid! and i know im putting everything perfect. pleaseee help? ):

You have two choices.

1) wait until they compile and upload a client themselves. Which may or may not happen

2) Get someone who is familiar with the language Tweetcraft is in, Lua, and Twitter's APIs from your guild to help you.

Hey, just wondering how this is going? I see some code has been committed but I am not savy enough to compile and test it out myself :S

I'm looking to incorporate TweetCraft into my Raid Tools addon for updating the guild twitter account with boss kills, loot distribution and a stack of other stuff but at the moment i've bumped it till I can get the TweetCraft client running.

The project is really cool, it's a shame it hasnt gotten the attention the uptake it diserved but hopefully having it in my addon will encourage others to do similar :D

Any progress on this? I'd really love to be able to broadcast my tweets again.

I love this addon as well. Allows me to broadcast my activity to social sites like Facebook as well as Twitter. Rather than retire it, perhaps you should get it a bit more visibility...

...and fix the api problem as well.

This last week Twitter turned off the Basic Authentication api. I think this has affected TweetCraft as it no longer is posting anything. Are there plans to fix this?

I honestly don't know what the issue here is, the only thing I could imagine is the graphics card. Are you running at an unusual DPI or screen resolution? Just bizarre

I couldn't figure out why my login screen is blank. Also, I'm not able to connect to twitter with blank login screen. It was just sitting there doing nothing with the bird animation hopping on the top. I know that the .NET and other files are up to date. I reinstalled several times and such. I use win 7, btw.

I did manage to install TweetCraft addon (even using Curse Client), the problem I am facing is installing the tray application. I don't think it is a matter of addons lack of support on the trial version (it isn't), but maybe the way TweetCraft application detects if World of Warcraft is installed or not.

I run WoW.exe with Administrative Rights as you suggested and then tried to install TweetCraft 2.0.212.1, but it didn't work. I guess I'll have to wait until I migrate to the full account :~

TweetCraft checks the registry for an install path property for World of Warcraft. One thing to try is to make sure to run World of Warcraft as an administrator (right click...run as an administrator). That way, it should write the Warcraft registry key to the right place so when you run TweetCraft, it'll find the installation location and know where to save and send Tweets.
